New episodes of H2O & Alien Surf Girls this week on TeenNick!

Hey guys…it’s that time again…today at 8/7pmc new episodes of H2O followed by the premiere of Alien Surf Girls will air Monday-Thursday this week!

Here’s the schedule:

5/29: *8/7pmc: H2O- 3.17: “A Magnetic Attraction”: Cleo meets a geophysicist named Ryan and discusses the Mako rock with him, much to Rikki’s chagrin.
*8:30/7:30pmc: Alien Surf Girls/Lightning Point- 1.01: “Wipeout”: In the series premiere of this sci-fi dramedy about 2 girls from another galaxy taking refuge in a coastal town, the girls land on Earth and are eager to surf. However, someone finds the keys to their ship, so the girls seek help from a local teen.

5/30: *8/7pmc: H2O- 3.18: “Into the Light”: Rikki worries about Ryan touring Mako Island, and she goes to great lengths to stop him.
*8:30/7:30pmc: Alien Surf Girls/Lightning Point- 1.02: “Microwave”: Brandon asks Zoey to come to a barbecue, where she meets some townsfolk who aren’t welcoming.

5/31: “8/7pmc: H2O- 3.19: “Breakaway”: Will cuts ties with Sophie and walks away from free diving. Meanwhile, Rikki spots Sophie kissing Zane.
*8:30/7:30pmc: Alien Surf Girls/Lightning Point- 1.03: “Wires Crossed”: Kiki & Zoey try to send out an alien signal using some old-school technology, and Amber must deal with the unintended consequences of their actions when the high-pitched signal attracts a mob of dogs.

I know many of you are rather hesitant on whether Alien Surf Girls/Lightning Point will be any good…but what this mod (Kelly) suggests is to just give it a chance…it could surprise you.
Honestly, when I first saw a commercial for H2O on Nick, I thought it looked like the stupidest show ever…but then I watched it & became obsessed! Now I co-run a H2O blog! :)

It would also be awesome to support Lucy Fry (she plays Zoey I believe in ASG/LP) who is going to be in the H2O spinoff: Mako Mermaids

So yep…it’d be awesome if you could turn into both these shows!

Oh & if you play the H2O game on TeenNick “Unblock It”…they have a sneak peek of the H2O episode: 3.16- “A Magnetic Attraction”.

destructodollx :"It's odd, but not extremely wacky/corny :P"

That’s true. I’m just saying that, as much as it may sound like an aesop, you can’t judge a show by its title.

destructodollx :"I wish they wouldn't have changed the show title. The original title is Lightning Point which sounds way better than Alien Surf Girls! The title ruined everything for me from the start, hahaha, but I still want to watch it and see how it is."

I do agree that Lightning Point sounds better, but a title doesn’t make or break a show. Others have pointed out that H2O: Just Add Water, which literally means Water: Just Add Water, is an odd name, but that didn’t stop it from being a great show.

Anonymous :"I have few hopes for Alien Surf Girls but I'm willing to give it a chance. It just doesn't look comparable to H2O in the least. Your thoughts?"

This mod (Savannah) doesn’t have high hopes for it, but it’s impossible to fairly compare the two before it’s even aired. It could surprise us.

Anonymous :"Why don't tears effect the mermaids? I mean, it is salt water. And I (THINK) I've seen one of them cry before? I can't be sure. Also, what about their "times of the month?""

They seem immune to all sorts of body fluids. Otherwise, their saliva would turn them into mermaids 24/7.
